Ansys Analysis on a Cantilever Beam
Overview and Aim
The objective of this project was to understand the different types and the number of elements in ANSYS analysis, the underlying assumption for each of the element and use of the elements.This is evaluated for a cantilever beam with different types and different number of elements
Analysis of a Cantilever beam is evaluated for Plane 182, plane 183 and Beam Elements in ANSYS Software
The Below Figures show the different number of elements for a cantilever beam which is same for all the types of elements
ANSYS Simulations are run for the above number of elements for each of the element Plane 182, plane 183 and Beam Elements and are tabulated for the convergence verification
