Scout-o-Bot
Overview and Aim
The aim of this project was to design a mobile robot which can be used for surveillance and rescue operations. We as a team of 3 members, successfully designed a two-wheeled compact mobile robot with a jump function.
Description
Scout-o-bot is the name given to the robot as it's primary function was searching for a person/something. The control of the bot was done by an Arduino circuit and the jump function of the robot was with the help of a Pneumatic Cylinder.

CATIA V5 software is used for modelling the robot to finalize the design from the initial phase to final phase

Figure below shows the Design Methodology we followed in designing of the Scout-O-Bot
To damp the force caused due to the impact after the jump a suspension mechanism was designed
Figure on the left shows the designed suspension system
To find the reaction forces on the base plank structural analysis is performed using ANSYS i.e., bending and torsion simulations are done
